Canada's Express Entry Draw Results from August 14, 2024
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a second Express Entry draw this week, issuing 3,200 more Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to Canadian immigration candidates. Here are the results from IRCC’s August 14 Express Entry draw.
In today’s draw, IRCC issued 3,200 ITAs in a program-specific draw for eligible Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 509.
Today’s draw follows a program-specific Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw yesterday (August 13, 2024) that saw IRCC issue 763 ITAs to eligible candidates with a minimum CRS of 690.
Express Entry
IRCC uses a system called Express Entry to collectively manage economic immigration applications submitted to the following three programs
- The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- The CEC
Since June 2023, IRCC has used three types of Express Entry draws to welcome new foreign nationals to Canada. These draw types are:
- General
- Program-specific
Canada's Express Entry Draw Results from July 31, 2024
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a second Express Entry draw this week. Read on for the results from the department’s July 31st Express Entry draw.
In the department’s second Express Entry draw this week, IRCC has issued an additional 5,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in a round of invitations for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. All ITA recipients from this draw had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 510.
Today’s draw follows a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw yesterday (July 30, 2024), which saw IRCC issue 964 ITAs to candidates with a minimum CRS score of 686.
Express Entry
Express Entry is the name given to the system used by Canada’s immigration department to handle applications for three economic programs – the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the CEC.
As of June 2023, IRCC issues ITAs through three different types of Express Entry draws: General, Program-specific and Category-based.
